鈥淧harmacy is where science meets compassion, and I am eager to contribute through both knowledge and empathy. I am passionate about patient care and aspire to become a board-certified oncology pharmacist.

Because of support from scholarship donors, I鈥檝e been able to take on leadership roles that help me develop as a future pharmacist. I鈥檝e also dedicated time to research with the hope of improving patient care. Most importantly, I have been able to invest fully in my studies, knowing I am building a foundation for a career where I can give back to my community.鈥�

John C. Livesey, PhD, associate professor of pharmaceutical sciences, received the Order of 91成人导航, the university鈥檚 highest honor.

Dr. Livesy was also awarded emeritus status.

Linda L. Norton 鈥�91, PharmD, professor of pharmacy practice, was awarded emeritus status.

Mamoun M. Alhamadsheh, PhD, professor of pharmaceutical sciences, and Hala Aldawod 鈥�24, PhD were interviewed by several media outlets on the revolutionary drug delivery system his team developed鈥攁 single-dose treatment that provides extended protection against fentanyl and other opioids by steadily releasing naloxone for up to one week.
