Dr. Gwendolyn Dailey, Ed.D. `13 `17 `24
As the new President of the 91成人导航 Black Alumni Club, I am deeply honored to serve in this historic role. I am a proud Triple Tiger, having earned my bachelor鈥檚 (鈥�13), master鈥檚 (鈥�17), and doctoral (鈥�24) degrees from 91成人导航. This moment marks the first time in 91成人导航鈥檚 history that an alumna in this position has achieved the highest academic degree鈥攁n accomplishment that stands as an inspiration to our African American community and a testament to the University鈥檚 commitment to excellence and opportunity. The foundation for this club was firmly established by past board members whose vision and dedication paved the way for our current progress. Their legacy is a blessing that allows this board to build upon a strong and meaningful foundation.
In my professional and community life, I serve as the Founder and CEO of Dome of Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families through education, technology, trade, and the arts. My service and advocacy have been recognized through numerous honors, including the Key to the City of Stockton, the Harold S. Jacoby Award, and the Presidential Award from 91成人导航. My leadership philosophy centers on encouraging, training, and promoting others to become the best leaders and versions of themselves. As we embark on this new chapter together, I look forward to leading a phenomenal Board of Directors鈥攐ne that will represent the very best of 91成人导航, strengthen our alumni connections, and continue to inspire generations of students to strive for excellence.

Dr. Traveon Jefferson, Ed.D. `25
Dr. Traveon Leshun Jefferson is a Texas native, a transformative leader, educator, and community strategist. His journey from being a first-generation college student to holding two master鈥檚 degrees. He is a recent graduate of the 91成人导航 with a Doctorate of Education, focusing on Transformative Action, exemplifying purpose and vision. As Program Specialist for Black Student Services at the 91成人导航, he has developed impactful initiatives, including the Black Unity Hangouts and Brotherhood Exchange, which foster a sense of belonging and leadership among Black students. Beyond campus, Dr. Jefferson is the co-founder of Survive and Thrive Education, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people (ages 15鈥�24) from marginalized backgrounds to graduate from high school, access post-secondary opportunities, and successfully complete their educational endeavors. A published author of the peer-reviewed article 鈥淎 doctorate doesn鈥檛 make you a 鈥楧oc鈥�: the educational and sociocultural embodiment of culturally relevant pedagogies鈥�, as well as a skilled relationship-builder, he bridges higher education, community engagement, and policy advocacy to expand opportunities for underrepresented populations. He is also an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

My name is Nason Tarver, class of 2023 graduate from 91成人导航's Eberhardt School of Business. I currently work as a staff accountant for Bowman & Company in Stockton while simultaneously working towards my CPA licensing. During my time at 91成人导航 I also spent two years assisting my fellow students under the positions of administrative aid and honor鈥檚 peer.

Ashton (Datcher) Ricketts `12, `14
Ashton holds both a Bachelor of Arts in English, with minors in Gender Studies and Ethnic Studies from the College of the 91成人导航, and a Master of Arts in Education Administration with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Benerd College. As a proud double Tiger and current 91成人导航 staff member, Ashton is honored to serve as Secretary for the Black Alumni Club Executive Board. With a deep commitment to community, equity, and mentorship, she looks forward to supporting Black alumni through meaningful connection, shared resources, and intentional celebration of Black excellence at 91成人导航.

Destiny Robbins `12
Destiny Robbins is a Spoken Word Artist, Songwriter, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and proud mother. A graduate of the 91成人导航 with a Bachelor鈥檚 in Sociology and a minor in Pre-Law, she went on to earn her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and is currently completing her doctoral dissertation. Destiny serves as the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at the 91成人导航, where she is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of students. An accomplished author of two books and two journals, she uses her creative and professional work to inspire healing, growth, and connection. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and remains deeply committed to uplifting her community and celebrating Black excellence.

Longtime Stockton resident Kieanna Bush-Jordan is passionate about service and view event planning as more than logistics鈥攊t's an opportunity to inspire, connect, and empower others. Now, as she joins the Black Alumni Association at 91成人导航 as Director of Event Planning she is excited to give back by designing events that not only reunite alumni but also strengthen the bonds that make the 91成人导航 community so special.

Anthony Young `12
Anthony is a 2012 graduate of the Eberhardt School of Business at the 91成人导航 and holds a Master's in Organization Development from Sonoma State University. Anthony is a Fresno native who is passionate about helping others reach their potential, and this has been a common thread throughout his career. Anthony has worked in multiple industries, such as agriculture, higher education, software, and now medical devices, where he continues to cultivate his passion by championing employee experience. He continues to volunteer and support his alma mater as a member of the Black Alumni Club and a member of the 91成人导航 Alumni Association's Board of Directors. Beyond his alma mater, he serves on the Board of Directors for the IMPACT Conference and volunteers in a leadership role with the Intuitive Foundation. In the past, he was a board member for the Sacramento English as a Second Language (SESL) based out of the Fruitridge Community Collective. He has also participated in the Sacramento Urban League Young Professionals and the Youth & College Board for California & Hawaii NAACP. Anthony is a graduate of Edison High School in his hometown of Fresno, California, and resides in Sacramento, California.

Donita Whitaker `13
DL Whitaker earned her B.S. degree from the Eberhardt School of Business in 2013 and is now a dedicated entrepreneur with her own wellness practice in Manteca. With over nine years of experience in Colon Hydrotherapy, she has developed both expertise and a deep passion for helping others restore balance and vitality. For her, colon hydrotherapy is more than a profession鈥攊t is truly her CALLING. She is committed to guiding clients toward feeling their best, inside and out, through the power of natural cleansing and holistic wellness. Clients often describe her as kind, knowledgeable, and genuine, appreciating the care and sincerity she brings to each session. She feels deeply honored to support and be apart the 91成人导航 Black Alumni Association.

Breanna Jackson `22
I am an experienced HR professional with a strong background in people operations, talent development, and organizational growth. As a proud 91成人导航 alumnus and member of the 91成人导航 Forensics community, I have honed my communication and advocacy skills both in and out of the workplace. Beyond my HR expertise, I am the host of the Human Not Resources podcast, where I explore conversations that highlight the human side of work. My experience extends into content creation and marketing, where I leverage storytelling to connect with diverse audiences and build meaningful engagement. This combination of HR leadership, communication expertise and creative strategy allows me to bring a unique perspective to every professional space I enter.

Angela Phillips `94
Angela Phillips is a dynamic leader, wife, mother, and grandmother. She currently serves as the Executive Director of TEAM Charter Schools and Programs. TEAM serves students preschool through eighth-grade, the majority from low-income and underserved backgrounds. A graduate of the 91成人导航, Angela has devoted her career to advancing educational equity through teaching, leadership, and community engagement. Angela has led initiatives to strengthen student confidence, family partnerships, and multicultural understanding, and she founded the Girls Loving Our Worth (GLOW) mentoring program to support at-risk high school girls, all of whom graduated. Her leadership at TEAM Charter has advanced both academic performance and social-emotional development through the 鈥淟eader in Me鈥� framework. She has been recognized with multiple honors, including the 91成人导航 Woman of Distinction Award and the The San Joaquin County Commission on the Status of Women Susan B. Anthony Award.

Clarence Henderson `04, `24
I have a passion of meeting people where they are and helping them get to where they want to be in life. My favorite part of working with first-generation college students from Stockton, is that it presents a chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and their families, contributing to their social mobility and empowering them to achieve their dreams.

Chanel Murray `19
Chanel Murray is a lifelong resident of Stockton that graduated from 91成人导航 in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior. While at 91成人导航 she served as the Vice President of Lambda Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc and was a member of the 91成人导航 Rowing Club. She has worked many years in service of her community with roles in several State Senate and Assembly offices and now with State Council on Developmental Disabilities. Her current role as a Community Specialist II is to advocate for services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumme counties. She and her husband are proudly raising their children in this community. She volunteers on several committees and in youth sports organizations locally.
